The Spirit of God is at work at Fountain of Life!

Over the past few years, we have had a renewed focus on extending the invitation for people to discover life in Christ together with us at The Fountain! God has been leading more and more people to accept that invitation and as a result, we have seen incredible growth happening. We have seen our church family growing year after year and we have seen people growing as disciples of Jesus and discovering the life that he has for them. It is an exciting time to be a part of the Fountain of Life Family!

With all of this amazing growth comes the challenge of growing pains. Our family meals have outgrown the capacity of the Fellowship Hall. The Welcome Area gets crowded quickly on Sunday mornings which makes it challenging to provide a place for people to connect with each other and welcome our guests. Adult Bible studies, children’s and youth ministries are pushing the limits of the facility. 

We believe that God is leading us to make space for more people to discover life in Christ at the Fountain by expanding our facilities.  In order to see this vision become reality, we knew that it would require us to unite together in prayer and through sacrificial giving over and above our regular tithes and offerings.  In February, we will be launching a capital campaign called Extending The Table.

During the month of February, we will have sermon series, churchwide Bible studies, and opportunities to seek God’s blessing and leading in prayer.  Make plans to be here on February 8.  Between services that morning, we will hold a Vision Gathering where you can learn more about the building expansion and the Extending The Table campaign.  We will discuss the importance of church-wide prayer during this crucial time, and we will share information about our church and its ministry. No financial commitments will be asked for or received at these meetings. The purpose of these meetings is to share information with you, to answer any questions you might have, and to encourage you to make this a special matter in your daily personal prayers.

God has given us a big vision, but we know that God is able to provide all that we need.  We can see this vision accomplished when we work together and we all do our part! Every household at The Fountain will be asked to prayerfully consider how God is leading them to make a sacrificial commitment to help accomplish what God is calling us to do.  Let’s commit together to seek God’s will in our lives and at Fountain of Life!

These are exciting days in the life of our church family.  It is a joy to be on this journey with you.

Across our facility, we are reaching capacity in many spaces. As our Fountain of Life family continues to grow, we want to make space for everyone to have a place at the table. In order to do that, we are going to need a bigger table!

PURPOSE

This Campaign and Building Expansion would create:

  • An improved Welcome Area entrance which will enhance the First Time
    Visitor experience.
  • A new Lobby and Coffee Area to diffuse the congestion currently in
    the Welcome Area and allow for meaningful connections between
    worship services.
  • A larger Fellowship Hall that would offer ample churchwide fellowship event space as well as flexible size meeting rooms for simultaneous smaller gatherings and study groups.
  • An Expanded Youth Space will aid this rapidly growing area of ministry.
  • Additional Storage Spaces and a Warming Kitchen
  • Remodel of the existing Fellowship Hall for Nursery, and add formal and informal meeting/gathering spaces.

In the last 60 years, God has done truly amazing things through the people at Fountain of Life.  As we continue to prioritize our values of “we make space” and “we build for the future”, we see areas that we can expand our facility to carry out God’s mission better.  The “Extending The Table” capital campaign will offer us greater ability to welcome others in to Discover Life in Christ Together!

Celebration Sunday

Gather with us as we praise and worship God on this special day of celebration! We will receive our “first fruits” offering for the 3-year giving period.
